New York insurance review

Business insurance for New York businesses

A useful insurance review starts with what your business actually does: where you work, who you employ, the property you use and the contracts you sign. Bring those details together before comparing price.

USA INSURANCE POLICY BROKERAGE INC. · NY corporate broker license BR-2000793. New York coverage availability depends on carrier, product and applicant eligibility and underwriting. An inquiry is not a binder or confirmation of coverage.

Start with your operations

Describe your services, typical customers and work locations. Include work away from your premises, subcontracted activities and changes you expect in the coming year. A short, accurate description is more useful than selecting a broad industry label.

General liability and a business owners policy

A business owners policy (BOP) commonly combines property and liability coverages. Ask whether a package fits your operations and what needs separate consideration. Compare the actual forms, limits, deductibles and exclusions, not just the names on the proposal.

Employees, vehicles and contracts

Prepare your estimated payroll by job duty and work state, details of business vehicle use, and any insurance requirements in leases or customer agreements. Ask which workers’ compensation, commercial auto or additional liability questions apply to your business. Requirements depend on your situation; a general website guide cannot determine them.

Questions before you start

Can I compare policies using premium alone?

Ask for a side-by-side review of limits, deductibles, exclusions and required endorsements. A lower premium may accompany different coverage. Confirm that the proposal matches the operations and contracts you disclosed.

Does submitting the form create coverage?

No. An inquiry starts a review only. Availability and quotes depend on market access and underwriting; coverage requires the applicable insurer’s confirmation. Do not cancel existing insurance based on an inquiry.
